Sony PlayStation

Previously, regional partners in these countries had been free to develop their own web solutions. The result was a wide range of websites outside of any central control, frequently presenting outdated content, and sometimes drifting significantly off-brand or otherwise conflicting with company policy.
So the requirement was for a solution that allowed enough flexibility for the regions to meet their local needs, but with a degree of approval and control from the central office. The solution obviously had to meet localisation issues, including supporting Greek and Hebrew text. Additionally, current content needed to be easily pushed from central office to the regional sites.
Although Sony already had a content management platform in place for their major markets, they found it was unsuitable for meeting the objectives of this project and turned to PostCMS.
Global administrators can grant local authors varying levels of authorisation depending on their technical level, and can optionally impose approval workflows. Content can be pushed from the central repository to any or all of the local sites, and queued for translation if applicable.
