Image editing
Image editing operations such as crop, rotate, flip and resize can all be carried out inside PostCMS, reducing the need for copy editors to have access to Photoshop or other image editing applications.
Automatic resizing and thumbnailing
PostCMS can automatically resize images to fit the available size, or create thumbnails in predefined sizes for reuse elsewhere on the website.
Customisable metadata
You can define your own metadata fields, say to add rights information to photographs, or reusable captions. Plus you can add free-form tags to any picture.
Picture desk workflows
We can set up workflows that support your specific editorial process, for example routing requests to your picture editor from directly inside PostCMS, or setting up moderation lists for user-submitted photographs.
Picture import
Authors can import pictures directly from their desktop into articles and web pages, or can quickly search the content repository for pictures that have already been uploaded. You can zip up a batch of photos and upload them in one go.
PostCMS can integrate third party picture feeds, say from Getty or the PA, or from your in-house print production system.
