Robust and highly scalable
PostCMS is a Java/Oracle application, running on Tomcat.
It uses a “baking” model, publishing web pages out to your public facing web servers. This model improves security by cleanly separating production from delivery. PostCMS can publish static HTML pages for maximum performance, or can publish to an application server where dynamic content needs to be delivered.
Lightweight integration
PostCMS has an extensive REST-ful API which can be used to securely connect to other web applications and legacy systems.
Extensive customisation options
PostCMS offers many more hooks for customisation than you might expect froma hosted service. Developers can write custom web services, feed handlers, workflow triggers, and even entire new user interface screens.
The scripting language for custom development is server-side Javascript.

The implementation team here at PostCMS use an agile, Scrum-based methodology.
