PostCMS lets you schedule updates for publication at a specified date and time, and embargo them before that to prevent accidental early publication.
Approval workflows
You can use approval workflows to ensure that updates are not released without appropriate approvals. Particular content types or web pages can have more stringent checks applied: for example, you might add an extra approval step to the site home page.
Content expiry
Even with appropriate checks, there might be times when circumstances change after an update has been published. You can very quickly expire content from your site using PostCMS.
